  1. Greetings, "cloud surfers". In the coming weeks, expect to hear more from CloudCrunch. Happy cloud computing!
  2. Just migrated several domains to Amazon EBS (persistent storage). Nice bump in performance. Data's safer, too!
  3. CloudCrunch's mission: "To inform, educate, serve and evangelize" in the cloud computing space. The journey is just beginning.
  4. Launching two instances (using the new Amazon Web Services Console) to build test images for Asterisk 1.4 and 1.6 for a project
  5. FYI: Just realized CloudCrunch is following a few folks who are subscribed to a different Twitter ID. I will be correcting this today.
  6. FreeSWITCH 1.0.2 compiled and processing calls on Amazon EC2. Seems very solid in the cloud.
  7. Welcome to all the new followers. We're building a steady presence here on Twitter and are determined to become a Top 10 resource here.
  8. It's a cloudy day here in Denver. How about your neck of the woods?
  9. Today's forecast: Very cloudy and connected. There's always something interesting happening in the cloud. :-)
  10. Compiled Asterisk 1.6 last night on Amazon EC2. So far, so good.
  11. Getting close to resolving an issue with compiling DAHDI for Asterisk on Amazon EC2. Will need this to test conferencing in the cloud.
  12. @stevekrzysiak The upgrade is still in process. My brain is fried currently from some troubleshooting a kernel / compile issue for a module
  13. Hello and welcome to the new CloudCrunch followers. We'll make this the best cloud computing resource on Twitter yet!
  14. I'm amazed by the improvement of my VoIP calls on Amazon EC2. It was GREAT before, but now? Even BETTER! The power of Asterisk!
  15. Preparing to compile (yes, COMPILE!) Asterisk 1.6 on my Amazon EC2 instance for some testing. Looking forward to what I'll learn.
  16. Upgrading EC2 server's Asterisk installation to 1.6 later tonight.
  17. Rats! @shultquist is already a VoIP user. I thought I was converting him. However, he's excited about hitching a ride on my VoIP cloud!
  18. I'm pleased to welcome my new VoIP recruit: @shultquist -- It took a while, but he finally sees the benefits of VoIP and Asterisk! :-)
  19. @damienstevens Multi-line calls work really well, too (just had one between a client and their end user)
  20. @damienstevens I set it up. I have a guide on my website which explains the process. Been using Asterisk for about a year on EC2.
