  1. @darrenf A lot (more than you'd think) of Blu-Ray discs are region-free. As for games, I'd say Uncharted 2 is a good start.
  2. @TheKnaphillian In the future, could you add a link through to the articles referred to in each Twitter posting?
  3. RT @seikatsu: Skype is an independent company again. Deal closed: http://bit.ly/2nL1vP
  4. RT @saschasegan: Chrome OS. Because people CLEARLY want Linux netbooks. That's never been tried before.
  5. @geekDadNath Fortunately (!) it was straight through it - punctured rather than severed. All travel on hold until December at least.
  6. @geekDadNath Er, are you squeamish? Keywords are: Kitchen. Thumb. Knife. Puncture. Stitches. Blood. Nerves. Surgery. Bandages. Sling. Bored!
  7. @geekDadNath Can you think of any one-hand only games for Wii other than Wii Sports? (Yeah, I'm bored and incapacitated.)
  8. Having only one good hand makes everyday tasks like getting dressed feel like a classic Houdini re-enactment. (Typing on iPhone excepted.)
  9. Jaysus. Glad I can't see this handball for myself (just got the R5 coverage)... think I'd be even more livid.
  10. @luciobuffone Charlotte Street?
  11. @bryanrieger Sure - I guess my point was the small size of the Maemo team at Nokia (almost a separate company) works in their favour today.
  12. @bryanrieger If Maemo becomes the primary OS at Nokia, it'll be a few short months before it gets bogged down with the same baggage as S60.
  13. The thing is, I'd happily watch a documentary on microsurgery and nerve reattachment, but I think I'll pass when it's my own hand involved.
  14. Trying to get a nasty knife injury fixed up urgently and BUPA only care about my surgeon being 'not within our pricing guidelines'. #fml
  15. @mholgate I know that name! Where are you where me old chum @dagbo is speaking?
  16. @MarkDougie See the skyline up on The Peak. Watch the lightshow from Kowloon at 6pm. Take the Star Ferry to Central... I love that city.
  17. @MarkDougie Nice one! It's an amazing experience the first time round - not to mention they drive on the left and have proper plugs. ;)
  18. @millsustwo Top stuff. God Bless America and all her British swear filter innocence.
  19. @scottmccloud Sounds like Heathrow to me...
  20. @dionc Interestiing - will get on the phone to "Phil the Light" and see what the buzz is down there.
