  1. If scientist and scientific organizations cater more to ideas that are "marketable" and interesting to the public, are they crossing a line?
  2. Watching Discovery last night, I thought "Does TV and media influence the flow and direction of science, and how?".
  3. My training: 2 - 15 lb dumbbells and a bench, full body core M/W/F. Swimming exercise on alt days. Energy drinks and protein, 1600 cal/day.
  4. Not saying I won't lose more weight, but we'll see. If your lifting weights though, no reason to watch a scale any more, measurements.
  5. I'm goin to call my goal reached at 181 lbs. because I'm starting resistance training now which adds muscle weight, and muscle weighs more.
  6. Just updating: Down to 186lbs now and time to start resistance training workouts. I need a bench and some weights.
  7. And oh, BTW, my diet.. Yeah, 192 this morning. That's 33 lbs so far from 225 in January, two thirds of the way and only 22 lbs to go.
  8. You know what, keeping up with this tweet stuff is hard if and when you are a busy person.
  9. So now back at my desk and working. Full and fairly happy about today's diet, but still I want to eat even less, or better tomorrow.
  10. I was thinking last night about making a requirements doc for this web design I'm doing to speed things up. Think I'll work on it today.
  11. Went to bed after the Daily Show, 11:30, but didn't doze off until probably 3am and felt like 5am. I never sleep without PM.
  12. I'm just getting some water, no snacks, yet. 2 more hours till bed time and I'll have done good enough for a cheese snack, yipee.

  14. Now where was I? Oh, i was trying out the CB bean factory methods and making sure my code utilizes it's full potential. Back to work.
  15. Ok, I give up, gotta eat now, starving, but not too much. Blog will have to wait.
  16. Just hit my knee on the desk, OUCH!
  17. Back at my desk now ready to work. Got to change out all my object dependencies to metadata properties.
  18. Woke up bout 8:15, late start. Feeling good and weighed at 196, no excess eating today!
  19. Forgot to tweet last night but nothing special, just took some PM and went to bed about 11:30 after The Daily Show.
