  1. dilemna of cheap storage: 2TB of new disk 5 hours to scrub for errors at 100MB/sec. As Jim Gray said, disk today is basically tape.

  4. @theiBlog the "90 seconds to start" is not consistent. sometimes it finishes opening in 10 seconds. syncing hasn't even started.
