  4. I'm still hoping the Aussies will release Masterchef Australia season 1 on DVD. Or at least allow us foreigners to view videos on the site!
  5. Read that the USA will do their own version of Masterchef Australia (different format from the BBC one) w Gordon Ramsay as host or judge.
  6. @missesdelicious Bought Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc cookbook and Heston's The Fat Duck book. Love the Dave McKean illustrations.
  7. Just cast my votes for the 2010 San Pelligrono World's 50 Best Restaurants list. Crossing my fingers for more Asian representation.
  8. Spending part of the day at 25 Degrees Celsius. Any foodie who hasn't visited S'pore's only cookbook book store should be ashmed of himself.
  9. @ElegSufficiency The wife and I are on a crazy protein rich, low cal, low carb diet. Not fun but we need to get a bit healthier. :(

  11. Loving the claypot rice noodle rolls (cheong fan) with braised beef brisket at Dim Joy! And their snowflake quo tie.
  12. Trying out a recipe tonight for spiced lamb burgers, served with herbed yoghurt. Should be lovely with a nice red wine.
  13. S is experimenting with Jap soft cotton cheesecake recipes. House smells amazing. But being on a diet and not able to eat the cakes sucks!

  17. Very excited. Just confirmed a work trip to visit the new Alila Villas Hadahaa resort in The Maldives. Looks like paradise.

  20. Confirmed I am heading to Venice in Dec. Have not been back there since 2006 (used to go 3-4 times a year). Any new great eating places?
