  1. Frightfest passes went on sale today. All the seats were the crap ones closest to the screen, not the tiered seats. Not paying £140 for that
  2. Has anyone got a working promo code for Be Broadband for something other than a £24 Amazon voucher? 3 months free code ran out on Tuesday :(
  3. Quite possibly the worst effort to tie a Star Trek pic into an IT feature I've ever seen. see last tweet.
  4. "Just as Star Trek has evolved over the last 40 years, comparisons can be drawn with the evolution of software testing" Test Magazine - WTF?
  5. Be Broadband - any opinions out there, anyone already with them for domestic broadband? All comments welcome.
  6. @Goughie Can't you get a nice healthy fry-up at the pub to go with the beer?
  7. @superglaze The 50p phone tax wouldn't even be needed had BT not rejected the Thatcher government's offer to fully fund fibre to the home!
  8. @robertbrook I didn't know that Hooters had come to London? :)
  9. @JanDavies Finally sorted with BT, now have a new battle with Sky, an 'error' is stopping its order system from taking my broadband order :(
  10. Catching up with old friends. Realising I've been a bit slack over the last few months what with bedding into the new job and everything.
  11. @anthayes If I don't receive a reply by close of play Thursday I intend to post the letter I sent to Sky's CEO to my blog.
  12. I have officially had enough of Sky, so have just faxed a 2-page complaint letter to Sky's CEO as clearly he doesn't care about the business
  13. @CatherineEyres @robertbrook In the 8mths to 31 May 09 Mix 107 had turnover of £284,839, op. loss of £92,762 & net liabilities of £1,168,372
  14. @Jill_Alexander The heatwave can impact stability and performance of things like broadband modems as well as telegraph polls and cabling.
  15. Sad news: Mix 107, without doubt the finest radio station covering High Wycombe and Amersham, is closing on July 1. Twas a favourite station
  16. @jonhoneyball @rupertg and I'm not running an event on either day so clearly there's nothing happening that's actually worth going to :)
  17. @Jill_Alexander Yes, PC hardware will suffer in the current heat. A friend of mine has servers at work that suffer from hayfever, no joke!
  18. @alexandrapullin I recommend Passport Photo Service on Oxford Street opposite Selfridges, http://www.passportphoto.co...
  19. Have just read one of the funniest Response Source requests this year. Nick Booth, you are a bad man! Funny, but a bad man nonetheless :)
  20. @jordanstone Water on a keyboard will be fine. If you ever spill tea, coffee or Coke on it, a rinse cycle in a dishwasher will fix things.
