  1. Heather and I saw a lecture by the Mayor of Braddock, John Fetterman. It seems like there would be plenty of places there to plant zinnias.
  2. heather and I went to cirque du soleill last week. I like it. lots of great trapeze artists that made me nervous.
  3. went to The Mount - Edith Wharton's house in Lenox - with Heather the other day. It was nicely designed and the gardens were nice too.
  4. I've got to get over to the Robert Floyd Photo Gallery to see Julius Lester's photo exhibit "Ways of Seeing". Looks like a great show.
  5. Stopped into R. Michelson Gallery. No time to view Conflict and Decadence: Gregory Gillespie and Leonel Gongora. Was that John Lennon art?
  6. Heather and I went to see our friend Sandra Blaney in New Century Theatre's production of Last of the Red Hot Lovers. She was great!
  7. APE Gallery - saw the Anchor House show. There were some paintings that I liked. I liked the street signs with stickers and grafitti
  8. Heather and I saw some of the bears in Easthampton. kind of cool. Might do the walking tour since I saw a place to get a real latte there.
  9. Awesome pencil art at Green Bean by Wendell K (?). just $10 for a color copy. I want to buy one. too crowded in G Bean to see all of them.
  10. Briefly looked at the Art of Lesley Dill exhibit at SCMA. I have to go back. It was kind of odd with bodies floating and cloth trails
  11. Finally saw William Kentridge's What Will Come at SCMA. Next time I go I am going to get a chair because it is very hypnotic.
  12. Went over to Lathrop House to see the group show of residents. Some nice paintings. The gallery in is the hallway that goes to the kitchen.
  13. Heather and I went to the fish ladder and saw a lot of Shad and Lamprey, and 1 small mouth bass. That place is very cool. The fish are close
  14. Went to the Hill Institute exhibition of student work where I had my class last winter, and there were many nice things to look at.
  15. Looks like I'm not going to get to the Sue Curran and Lourdes Morales opening at Gallery A3 in Amherst. Looks like some nice paintings.
  16. At starbucks there were giant photographs of people by Edward Acker. I liked them because they were really large and looked good on the wall
  17. Saw Rebecca Muller and Tom Morton's installation at Gallery A3 in Amherst - The Republic of Distance. I don't understand this type of art.
  18. saw some medium size paintings of illustrations from children's books at Green Bean but I didn't write the artist name down. Nice lion!
  19. I wonder if I had some variant of swine flu last March when I got sick and had crazy dreams about shadows. That was no normal flu.
  20. There was a giant elephant transport mask at pulp science fiction. Really freaky. Freaky thing to look at. It freaked me out. freaking weird
