  1. @SteveMGHarrison To me, Renegade HR is my network of like-minded HR professionals.
  2. @SteveMGHarrison But if you don't agree with the direction, it's like a mouse trying to move a giant. Why not start your own org instead?
  3. RT @EMCCareerCenter: Great career advice from @DanielPink and @PresentationZen http://www.slideshare.net/garr/career-advice-08
  4. Awesome! Choice, not charity! RT @TEDchris A clever video from @acumenfund suggests a better way to tackle poverty http://bit.ly/7xZNno
  5. Great story!! RT @LenDevanna Thanks @Mozy. You saved me on this one. http://bit.ly/6CFWWf
  6. @ChinaGorman @ndslotnick Sure thing - I just need to know your Google Wave address (can be found by clicking your name in contacts)
  7. @stelzner I agree, btw, about the futility of complaining. Complaining about SHRM is useless.
  8. Started a wave. Invite as you see fit! @sharlyn_lauby @CincyRecruiter @beneubanks @stelzner @ChinaGorman @BTarver
  9. @LarryEngel FYI, I WAS a member of SHRM, and left sorely disappointed.
  10. @LarryEngel mind elaborating on those resources/
  11. @BTarver @ChinaGorman 140 is really making a good dialogue difficult. This would make a great wave. I'm getting one started.
  12. looks like I won't be getting invited to speak at SHRM events anytime in the near future =P
  13. @BTarver is right. This really requires a bigger discussion portal. Bowing out of the convo. @beneubanks @sharlyn_lauby @ChinaGorman
  14. @ChinaGorman Lobbying. Pushing policies and encouraging risk avoidance. Promoting books on canned Performance Appraisal phrases.
  15. @BTarver And what does the voice of SHRM say for it's members?
  16. @CincyRecruiter Networking, within and outside of HR, and DOING great things in the organization you support.
  17. @ChinaGorman I'd hardly call myself a "sole voice".Great network of HR pros met through SM. Without giving SHRM my $$ to spend on lobbying.
  18. @ChinaGorman But I can't help but wonder if that effort would not be better utilized OUTSIDE of SHRM rather than within its walls
  19. @ChinaGorman Just to be clear, I applaud all the work you're doing to improve SHRM.
  20. @ChinaGorman You're focusing on the people. I'm focusing on the organization. Not the same thing. Link to Pinnacle Award info?
