  1. @BlueTyson That's one I didn't discover until I was an adult. Too late to develop any affection for it, though I love the oddball qualities.
  2. A nice meaty interview with my iZombie collaborator Mike Allred: http://bit.ly/4Hemdv
  3. @BlueTyson I'll have to track it down!
  4. @BlueTyson Doesn't ring a bell. The same vintage as The Mighty Hercules?
  5. @BlueTyson My passion for those goofy old cartoons has never dimmed.
  6. @BillWillingham "Softness in his eyes, iron in his thighs; Virtue in his heart, fire in every part of The Mighty Hercules!"
  7. @BillWillingham @BillWillingham Well, where do you think all that "turkey" meat came from, mmm?
  8. @CherylMorgan If he *had* been, maybe he could have asked for me why they were playing the F-Troop theme...
  9. Watching Jay Leno with Allison's dad, I recognized a musical sting as the theme from F-Troop. Don't know whether to feel proud or ashamed.
  10. @FinnsWake Mmm. *Tempting*....
  11. I'm thankful today for unsecured wireless networks.
  12. In Tulsa, watching cartoons with Georgia while @allisontype and various relatives prepare Thanksgiving feast in the kitchen.
  13. RT @ebertchicago: I finally unload about Siskel & Ebert & Roeper & Ben & Ben & Tony & Michael & who else ya got? http://j.mp/4vE5O0
  14. The Muppets cover Bohemian Rhapsody: http://www.chrisroberson.ne...
  15. @NoahGK It'll be a while yet, but I'll keep an eye out for it!
  16. @daniel_poeira I've only read the first third or so of Simonson's Thor, but once I get done with the Lee-Kirby run I'll get back to it.
  17. @DocShaner I just finished the first Visionaries collection, and after a slow start, it *really* starts to tick over. Onto volume two!
  18. @BillWillingham The "Secret Identity Dilemma" stuff ("I love her, but *she* only loves my super identity..."), in particular.
  19. I've been reading Walt Simonson's run on Fantastic Four for the first time and, holy cow, y'all... it is *awesome*.
  20. It's striking how much the early Thor stories in Journey to Mystery read like silver age Superman.
