  2. Nursing sore body after 12-mile Team Vegan run with India Garden take-out. Bengan Bhartha and Chana Saag are my comfort foods!
  3. Powered through 9-mile run across Golden Gate Bridge fueled by homebrewed lemon-lime energy gel & lemon-ginger-coconut water sports drink.
  4. Chowing down on a very satisfying Moroccan lentil Peasant Pie after 6 mile Team Vegan training run around Oakland's beautiful Lake Merritt.
  5. Dear Millennium: I *heart* your smoker, and your chocolate "cheese" cake w/ cocoa nib brownie crust & blackberry coulis is intensely good!
  6. Mini muffin mania with new baking tins: blueberry/lemon/corn & banana/walnut/chocolate chip. Bite-sized desserts masquerading as breakfast.
  7. Snacking on Muhammara (roasted red pepper and walnut spread), made from new cookbook The Vegan Table. So Good! Congratulations @vegancook!
  8. Thanks to Clif Bar for their generous donation to Team Vegan. Enjoyed an Oatmeal Raisin Walnut Clif Bar after our 6-mile run today.
  9. #frankie95 finale fueled by Pure Food & Wine feast: beet ravioli, stuffed squash blossoms, amazing dessert bonanza. Mint choc. sundae FTW!
  10. 4-mile www.teamvegan.biz training run today in beautiful Central Park. Large iced coffee from Joe's has me ready for night 4 of #frankie95.
  11. In NYC for #frankie95. Fueling up for night 3 at Sacred Chow: big mixed greens salad w/ bbq seitan, caramelized onions, spicy peanut sauce.

  16. @littleturkey Dr. Cow's nut cheeses (cashew & macadamia) are delicious w/ crackers or sliced Granny Smith apples! Yet to try algae variety.
  17. Just devoured second lemon-filled vegan cupcake at friends' wedding reception. Thanks @sugarbeatsweets!
  18. Enjoying first soy gibralter at Blue Bottle Coffee's brand new SF Ferry Plaza location (AKA local foodie paradise).
  19. Cooked dinner tonight from Bryant Terry's Vegan Soul Kitchen: Jamaican veggie patties, baked bbq black-eyed peas, coleslaw. Oh yeah!
  20. Stopped by Golden Era in the Tenderloin for a quick lunch. HUGE plate of spicy garlic green bean tofu w/ steamed brown rice. $7 well spent!
