Just made a pot roast sheppard's pie. slow cooked roast in cabernet all day. Made a light cream sauce w/the reserves added veggies, awesome!

NY strips w/just garlic & S/P I want to taste the meat. Shrimp risotto, and honey glazed carrots to round it out. Zin to wash it down. YUM!

Making smoked tomato sauce today. lightly smoke the tomatoes,garlic, and red peppers. That hint of smoke is a nice change of pace on pasta.
