  1. Hooked my PS3 back up, basically to watch The Prisoner. I mean, I have games but I'm just not interested.
  2. @TribeOneWon @JonHexLives I thought Snyder would be better than what I heard about the Freeze reboot, but man. That IS disappointing.
  3. @TribeOneWon did they re-intro him in Detective, or was it actually in Batman?
  4. I mean, I think that's one of the only situations that I will eat something out of pure éspirit du corps.
  5. Also: PB&J on whole wheat, is just upsetting to me. I'll eat it, but the fact that it seems unacceptable will be in my thoughts as I do so.
  6. People who use honey wheat as a sandwich bread for stuff like egg salad are people that I don't know how to approach, socially.
  7. @youreacigarette or just standalone. The fancy bread. Like cinnamon raisin or cheesebread or whathaveyou.
  8. @franzferdinand2 I can dance at that disco. Eastern European bread is pretty great.
  9. @GreenGoober I am a child that does not prefer slaw on his sandwich. It is a source of constant stress for me, and Primanti's enjoys that.
  10. For my standalone bread, my go to is the three cheese miche from Panera. Because it is cheese infused, come on.
  11. For the record, I am all about bread made by monks. There's just something about trusting those dudes for that sort of task. That and mead.
  12. @youreacigarette well, that just brings another level of discussion to light about requirements for container food versus standalone bread.
  13. This is Breadtalk, and I'm your host, Chance. On the line we have a flax enthusiast from Omaha.
  14. I'm saying this as a man who enjoys wheat bread, but is not for the more rustic, chunky entire grain bread. My bread views are moderate.
  15. Also, is it just me, or does bread elitism just seem... pointless? I know, we get it, white bread is basically nothing.
  16. "You can toast a pita!" is basically stating that you don't get the English Muffin concept.
  17. The pita really is a containment food. You don't see people preparing a whole pita to eat by itself. If you do, it's generally off putting.
  18. The scrappy underdog of the "food between two things that are a different type of food" based industry.
  19. Also, how much do the residents of Sandwich hate calzones, the upstart quasi-sandwich?
  20. Big ups to John Montagu, the fourth and possibly most notable Earl Of Sandwich. You did it, buddy.
