  1. .@kneoh @derrickpenner And curious how 15% River Rock traffic bump compares to, say, stores at Oakridge Centre or Lansdowne mall.
  2. .@derrickpenner @kneoh Would also like to know how River Rock station location was chosen in first place. Was it pre-casino?
  3. .@derrickpenner @kneoh Tough one. Other way to look at it: They built station at a site that was already high traffic to reduce car usage
  4. Maybe casinos should subsidize transit: Canada Line boosts River Rock traffic 15%: http://bit.ly/5BGXKj
  5. @stephen__harris New term for PVR: Digital attic.

  8. .@tykethreads Actually think lack of overlap between two accounts makes sense. One focuses on parenting, the other investigative journalism
  9. .@lisasj Would seem PhDs have more claim to Dr. title than MDs. Doctor means "teacher" in Latin: http://bit.ly/1F22Tl
  10. Interesting: Only 83 of my 885 followers follow both of me (@curiousdad & @chadskelton). Thanks http://followerwonk.com/
  11. @lisasj That's true. You do work for the CBC, after all. ;)
  12. @lisasj I think most readers/viewers equate "Dr." with medical doctor, which makes using it for PhD almost always confusing.
  13. RT @lisasj: I was just told my "geekiness" really shines through when I explain science to non-scientists. Best compliment ever.
  14. RT @FakeAPStylebook: When referring to someone with a Ph.D. as "doctor" immediately follow it with "but, you know, not a REAL doctor."
  15. Is it just me, or is Jon Stewart becoming more and more partisan and less and less funny?
  16. RT @curiousdad: Perhaps a sign I've been away from work for too long: My work clothes literally have dust on them.
