  1. is writing dangerously tonight in SF, so y'all are going to be eating my WC dust, m'kay?
  2. survived b-day d-day, vacuumed living room, realized I need laundry for tomorrow, am wondering if authentic newsboy hat counts as noir.
  3. must be feeling better because the mess in the house is really bothering me. we'll see how we feel after D's b-day party at bowling alley.
  4. @paolobacigalupi congrats. it was a fantastic read!
  5. @unfocusedme i think h1n1 is responsible for some of the weirder aspects of this novel. I cannot decide whether it is brilliant or not.
  6. my short, pulpy space opera has morphed n2 epic treatise on meaning of human existence and our relationship with the unknown. + 'splosions
  7. @unfocusedme dude ... that totally messes up your wordcount. you should put in a space at least once every 5 r's.
  8. RT @paolobacigalupi: The nice thing about a community event is that it brings out my misanthropy.
  9. finally went to the doctor after 2 weeks (yes, I know) will hopefully be full time in the land of the living soon.
  10. to all the Californians complaining about the cold ... it's called a jacket. you might want to look into it.
  11. still recovering from flu and a night of no sleep (don't ask). wc will recover tomorrow. It's written, just needs to be typed
  12. RT @AbsoluteWrite Has anyone else noticed that writing fiction is sometimes rather like knocking down hornets nests with your face?
  13. @Scath the horror ... the horror ...
  14. @DavidRozansky i wish i could not relate to this. lol.
  15. new blog post http://cegrayson.wordpress.com
  16. @Scath yes, I have become very annoying to those people who still try to rec books to me.
  17. @Scath oh, hells yes. also, cliched phrasing and trite dialogue. I CAN'T read most books that r "popular." now D Brown makes my eyes bleed.
  18. Overdid it, of course, and the the flu is back to kick my ass. Am really wondering what I am going to do about this corkscrew tail.
  19. not sure I have it in me right now, but I better find a way to install it ... that may have come out wrong.
  20. broke 20,000. Have realized my short novel is going to be not so much with the short, but is ok with that.
