  1. Airlines can fly you around the world but cannot make a website that works for even the simplest things. It scares the crap out of me.
  2. @chadmyers @topgenorth @derickbailey you can also have each person create a private gist, push to that, then send you that url to fetch from
  3. @JoshuaPoehls thanks, we did a bunch of iterations on that to get to something we liked
  4. @jmccrohan that's a good point - i'm open to linking elsewhere but i'm afraid of k.org style outages again
  5. @jmccrohan Junio doesn't list the k.org mirror as a source in his release notes anymore - I didn't know it was back up
  6. @SteveStreza it's what the authors of git core were more comfortable with, which makes things easier for when we can copy parts
  7. @itrebal tried that - they still don't link directly to the binary, but it is closer. Luckily msysgit is just moving its downloads to github
  8. sunlightlabs.com/blog/2012/shou… - I could not agree more - this is not a difficult problem and it wastes so much of so many people's time
  9. is there any way to get a list of downloads available on a google code project via an API? or do I have to screen scrape?
  10. @CraigCottingham and my email address has been the same for 10 years, where tax shit has been sent to older addresses a dozen times
  11. @CraigCottingham hwhat? My https inbox is way more reliable and secure then financial documents sitting in a box in front of my house
  12. @andrewle speakerdeck.com/u/schacon/p/ro…
  13. Taxes done, but when will we be emailed all these stupid documents? All I wanted to do was Gmail search for "1099-DIV"
  14. wow, may you never have to contact Ustream for support, they make it basically impossible. avoid Watershed if you ever want support.
  15. if anyone is in SoCal next week, I'm hosting a drinkup in Ventura on Thurs: github.com/blog/1094-gith… - also a talk on GH: eventbrite.com/event/32845150…
  16. @dantmurphy we would love to participate, let me know more - scott at github
  17. @pumazi weird, what browser?
  18. @codermatt yup. I did my "three trees" talk there.
  19. @tpdubs2 no, but how amazing would it have been if I had known that?
