  14. Africa Day was a great day out enjoyed by all involving music, food, and activities to celebrate the diversity of cultures in Africa.
  15. To celebrate Africa Day, CGDE will be present at the grounds of Limerick City Hall, Merchant’s Quay, Limerick on Sunday, 30th May.
  16. The Ugandan team were not affected by the ash cloud and were able to leave Uganda on the 25th April as planned
  17. In both countries, meetings were held with Irish Ambassadors and other officials throughout the weeks, as well as sight seeing and visits
  18. Ugandan Data Analysis teams spent the second week on report writing and data analysis and the TEEP team continued with the exchange program
  19. Due to the volcanic ash, the Lesotho teams were stranded for an extra week which they were able to spend productively
  20. In Lesotho, at the end of the second week, a meeting with participants from all projects was held to share progress and experiences.
