  8. 93 friends on FB and most won't read things I post because I put too much Education stuff on there. Nice to be here with others who get it.

  13. I don't fear that the best teachers will migrate to the classrooms where they have more control. I hope it happens. Force change. #edchat
  14. I'd like to see more school dstrcts allowing 1 or 2 schools to try something completely different. If it appears to work adopt it #edchat
  15. @jonbecker I know. Texas Tech is 8 hrs by car and I would need to do a large part of 2 summers (proly).
  16. @unklar Luckily for us Teaching is NOT a stressful profession. A profession that drives you to drink - but not stressful
  17. @jonbecker I really want to explore the viability of a school district giving Prof.Dev. credit for time spent learning with a person's PLN
  18. @jonbecker I'm leaning towards C & I (math/science) . Talked with C&I chair this afternoon but they don't offer PHD distance classes - yet
  19. @smeech 4th grade? My son is a 4th grader & if he told me he was heading to hospital to be w/girlfriend who was having a baby - he'd be dead
  20. Need some guidance on Doctoral Programs in Ed. Considering Texas Tech but looking with something with less residency time - possibilities?
