  1. @leisa Is that so? What a shame. I wonder how that's affected the US/Other split in previous years…
  2. @nickycast I'm doing my Future Of Wayfinding talk. If I can afford to go, that is: no comp tickets for speakers this year. Irritatingly.
  3. @nickycast Thanks. Your panel sounds fascinating, I'll try very hard to get to that.
  4. @toastkid Happy birthday!
  5. Booking flights to Austin for SxSW.
  6. The right answer is usually to go for it.
  7. Looks like I'm SxSW-bound too. But enough of that, it's party time. Who'll be the first to fall over? And will the cause be alcohol or ice?
  8. Why so much black and white? The fold is both real and unreal. Wave/particle duality, people: embrace the ambiguity.
  9. @iamdanw You don't know if they do or not until you open them.
  10. @joelanman Yep, WebKit browsers only. Uses bleeding edge CSS3.
  11. Quiet day in the office for obvious reasons, so I'm getting my head down and writing.
  12. My obligatory UK snow tweet: it's absobloodylutely flinging it down. This calls for tmesis.
  13. "As it's Christmas and snowing outside, we're going to do a song about killing a man and throwing him in the river." - Salter Cane gig.
  14. @johannakoll Might. I'll have to look closely at budgets; IAS still won't be cheap.
  15. I hope Jakob doesn't stop with "Eyetracking Web Usability". I'm on tenterhooks for its sequel "Phrenology for Web Usability".
  16. @beley Thanks Brandon. I'm talking about The Future Of Wayfinding; ubicompy real-worldy mobiley AR-y stuff. Can't wait.
  17. Awesome - accepted to speak at IA Summit. Watch out Phoenix.
  18. @jaremfan If they're sensible, do them. If they're not, discuss options and ways to progress. Refusal can sometimes be a viable option.
  19. @jaremfan Welcomed. The skill comes in looking at suggestions with objectivity and successfully managing them.
  20. Starting a new project today. Only a small bit of consultancy, but it's on a flavour of webapp I've always wanted to design.
