  1. Sort of accidentally stayed up until 1 am last night. I can't remember the last time that happened. Was not exactly an early morning here.
  2. Baked potato exploded in oven tonight. Was v. exciting. (Also, I finished #Bioshock half an hour ago.)
  3. Yay, my lip gloss tubes and flavor oils arrived, well in time for me to make a bunch before Christmas Eve!
  4. Slept through my alarm, so instead of starting work shortly past 4 am, I started at 6:45, and am so very far behind I may never catch up.
  5. Our holiday wine club shipment arrived today. We haz bubbly!
  6. It is, I think it fair to say, REALLY BLOODY FREEZING. It's something like 12 degrees outside (wind chill -2). I wish we had better windows.
  7. Dear self: Next year, do please try to *keep* up with the bookkeeping, so as not to have to play 12-month catchup in December.
  8. I am relatively confident that it is no colder than usual in here, so why am I wrapped up to the neck in this blanket while I work?
  9. Today's plan: About 50% computer-based work, 30% crafty-creation work, and 20% boring domestic anti-entropic work.
  10. Dear dog: Please to not eat the bath fizzies again. The resulting experience is something we can all probably do without repeating.
  11. @missysedai I don't think I've ever been heckled by a bell ringer.
  12. Alarm failed to go off this morning, and still I woke up at 5:15. I think I'm broken. But in a useful way, I guess.
  13. @missysedai I'd rather have snow than the "wintry mix" we had here. Of course, the closest I've come to going outside was getting the mail.
  14. The part of my work I usually do starting at 5 am is done at ten to four, and happens at about 9 am on a usual day. So much for other work!
  15. So, last night's GIANT PILE of work did finally turn up, at exactly the same time as today's ongoing work got up and running. Crazy busy!
  16. I am unoffended when doctors want to dictate punctuation, but is it too much to ask that they not dictate INCORRECT punctuation?
  17. Of course, it'll turn up at some point this morning along with everything else, and then it'll be work-like-a-madwoman time.
  18. The work that usually turns up around 8 pm didn't. So I had both an earlier night and later morning than usual, and am oddly well-rested.
  19. @scifantasy Good luck! I wish you good sleep, wakeful morning, and proper testing mindstate.
  20. @zdilli Meh. The universe is uncooperative in this respect, as indeed it is in most others.
