@ thats what the new project wizard does not currently do. so users create your project outside sts and then import

@ no, thats not it. just open the same workspace with both and compare how long it takes to open editors. big difference.

@ yes, ctrl+g has been changed to ctrl+alt+g to make it a global shortcut. ctrl+g was already in use for reference search
