  10. @mnemonicfx Yeah, sorry, I'll quit babbling ;)
  11. @drewmccormack I generally tend to leave the view hierarchy part of the responder chain alone, but yeah, docs aren't very helpful here...
  12. Sorry for the crappy copy/paste grammar there :)
  13. @pilky That's also how i would order it in that case :) Actions gets to where they needs to be, validating takes care of most ambiguity.
  14. @drewmccormack WC is the window's delegate, so I put them after that. So, Window -> Window's delegate ->VCs.
  15. @drewmccormack Other views that have mouse interaction usually have a target/action, so you just tell the actions where to go anyway.
  16. @drewmccormack Menu actions/key events are more frequent than custom view mouse events, where you'd have to subclass the view anyway.
  17. ...I've never had to write any code to figure out where to send an action to after the VCs are inserted into the responder chain.
  18. The thing you suggest is alot of extra code in a WC that is hard to maintain if UI design changes. Resp. chain+menu validation just works.
  19. @drewmccormack If 2 views can be printed, have to design the UI so the user can be specific about what they want to print. How can WC know?
  20. But I don't want it, who's next?
