  1. @harvydanger Still think you're a tough mo-fo for standing out in the chilly wind & helping score results for Hilly Cross. Heal fast, bro!
  2. @RussellCree I second that emotion, and I haven't even met her yet! Thanks for the Tucson hook up! Booking my to-and-fro flights prontomundo
  3. Swimming, rowing, basketball, hill repeats. Any activity that keeps the intensity up on these dark evenings, I'm doing it. Don't get sleepy!
  4. @Raleighs_Sally Oh, yeah. I save all my chips for this time of year. September - lazy, October - silly, November - serious, December - kill.
  5. My CX race bike (Alpine Designs, Reynolds 853 steel frame) now 10 yrs old, is begging to be retired. Can it survive 2 more weeks of slaying?
  6. The concerned look of someone who has crashed a lot today, courtesy of Janet Hill at SpotShot Photography: http://tinyurl.com/scx-monroe
  7. @chadroe Just caught your tweet. You should have drunken beers AT Silly Cross. We had plenty to supply the whole crew. Only the As ran out.
  8. Talked to Terry of @mfgcross today in Monroe. All the pieces are in place for Cross Border Clash 2010. All we need is to bring the noise!
  9. Obviously I hit my head pretty good, can't spell BRAKES. Also clipped a white plastic horse fence. But hey, I can still speekatheEnglash.
  10. Seattle CX final in Monroe decided to have 2 technical descents. I decided not to tune my break pads. Result? Landed on my friggin' noggin.
  11. Out riding the Hilly Cross course on FS MTB. Beautiful moonlit night in B'ham. I still think of this event as my greatest promo accomplshmnt
  12. Headed to Fanatik to get couple rolls of rim tape. Lesson: just because somebody builds your wheel, doesn't mean they'll think of everything
  13. Just returned a bunch of borrowed course marking equipment to Lance Romo at Bellingham Parks Dept. Huge thing they are doing for cyclocross!
  14. @cyclocross Looking down the list of Euro-bound 'cross racers, I see two magic words... Bellingham WA! Way to go, Steve Fisher, you deserve!
  15. Still feeling the love from Hilly Cross participants re: my course design. Really, the Squalicum Park terrain was just begging to be raced!
  16. Feel like the Williams Wheel with Challenge Fangos just sliced the mud the past two races. I've only got the rear on! Bang up glue job by me
  17. Patrick Means and myself after Woolley Cross, Men Cat 3. My best result in Seattle CX http://yfrog.com/aubhjzj B'ham rocked the casa!
  18. I'm still picking up the pieces mentally. Getting that course up on time was a challenge. Now moving down to Sedro Woolley for Seattle CX #7
  19. Big thanks to @recycled_cycles, @harveydanger, and all others who came out to help yesterday. Can't put on a great race without lots of help
  20. Just finished up an amazing race at Squalicum Creek Park. Muddy, technical bits, tough hills, windy but no rain. Lots of happy B'ham racers.
