  1. @wilsonleiser I'll be one of them Monday early afternoon (though we'll be crossing the other way, against the NAT tracks).
  2. @FlyNFast I was a 727 FO for a bit. I think I was only qualified to turn on the window heat and the pitot heat.
  3. @FlyNFast At my company, the captain always does the walkaround (unless there's an RO), which really doesn't seem right.
  4. @eejay A Twitter search indicates it's probably a nationwide outage.
  5. @simplysteven Yep. It seems to be down in a large part of the U.S., if not everywhere.
  6. @shoewee It's not just in south Florida. The data stopped working in Louisville too.
  7. Day one of simulating complete in the 767 simulator. We're back in the 757 sim tomorrow for day two.
  8. @jetcaptain Years ago I tried to loop a 767 sim at the Boeing training center. I thought it was going to jump off of its mounts.
  9. @jetcaptain Yeah--I don't want to be the one who breaks the new simulator before it's officially put into service.
  10. I get to fly our brand-new 767 simulator tomorrow.
  11. @egid But it avoids confusion with the other thing they say, "Taxi to holding position, runway 27," which means to taxi to and hold short.
  12. @puneet @egid "Line up and wait" isn't ambiguous at all, and it's what they say everywhere outside the U.S.
  13. My annual recurrent training starts tomorrow. It's not something I look forward to, but it never turns out to be a big deal.
  14. @puneet The G3000 is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I wish they made it for airliners.
  15. @Jason They should have taken off clothes instead.
  16. @AtomicT I was starting to suspect that!
  17. @AtomicT You couldn't decipher the secret pilot codes?
  18. At least the wind's blowing right down the runway. KDEN 291853Z 35028G33KT 1/2SM R35L/2400V3500FT SN FZFG BLSN VV006 M04/M06
  19. Flying two legs back to PHL tonight, which is never fun. At least there's a relief pilot, so I can take a break. http://bit.ly/rKGbW
  20. @askacfi Does the U.S. just want standardize and use the same terminology the rest of the world uses?
