  5. Midwest sailors: KenLake Marina may be the best dockage deal on Ky Lake but slips are limited. I've NO connection, just dropped by Monday.
  6. When things get dicey under sail, check your sea room and heave to. It will all seem calmer and you'll have more time to make a plan.

  16. Lin and Larry Pardee circumnavigated with no motor for years. Sure, Ok to have, but not absolutely necessary. All depends on your mindset.
  17. @homegardenlist A friend sailed the Caribbean for 7 years with no motor. Motor might be nice, but not necessary.
