  12. Officially in Florida now! Ever closer to Sarasota... Amazingly, travel days never really get less sucky. Looking forward to staying still.
  13. Smart: carry a different sim card for different countries. Dumb: don't bring a pin to open your phone's sim card slot.

  15. Airlines have reached a new low in cost-cutting. My intercontinental flight has no air vents for the seats. Thank the FSM for deoderant!
  16. Seems like we just got to Paris, and already I have to leave! Singing is about the only thing that could tear me away from this city.
  17. Beaurocracy success: getting real information about where to go and what docs to bring, without actually getting anything done. Sigh.
  18. At least today we have a better idea of which offices we have to go to! Praying to Flo, the goddess of beaurocracy, that it's easier today!
  19. We have been to 1 town hall and 2 police stations so far... And NO ONE knows how/where I can register as a Paris resident! Ah, France.
  20. Visited the Paris Conservatory with Bryn today. So excited to have access to this great resource!
