  1. This O's game is... not going so well.
  2. @levineps @32OriolesMagic Legit answer still. 1.04 ERA isn't half bad. Not worth a ton as a middle reliever, but it's still something
  3. @levineps @32OriolesMagic 1.04 ERA isn't half bad.
  4. @Toirtap Ah.
  5. @Toirtap Ambition, ego?
  6. @Olsen_Don @Britt_Ghiroli End of 2017, apparently. So it's still a few years of no-trade there, even if not in the "more important" ones.
  7. @Sky_Kalkman @cwyers @Toirtap Any of you familiar with someone estimating the "monetary value" of a no-trade clause before?
  8. (Re: Jones' no-trade clause.) Thanks. RT @Britt_Ghiroli @CamdenCrazies believe it's full.
  9. Seconded. RT @luke_jackson10 @CamdenDepot Now THAT was solid Twitter play by play.
  10. @CamdenDepot @EatMoreEsskay @luke_jackson10 That's a good point as well. 2017 is a pretty long way off though.
  11. @EatMoreEsskay @luke_jackson10 That's what I assumed, but it wasn't specified from what I saw.
  12. @Britt_Ghiroli Do you know if the no-trade is full are limited?
  13. @luke_jackson10 Not sure.
  14. Has anyone estimated the "monetary value" of a no-trade clause before?
  15. @CamdenDepot Walked up with some friends yesterday - line stretched well out of the "line area". Don't remember the last time I saw that.
  16. @levineps That's what I'm saying - it's the equivalent of paying him more money, but most people wouldn't count that towards the cost.
  17. @levineps It's not a huge deal - $5 M over 6 years isn't going to make really matter.
  18. @levineps It is a trade off. More or less adds a few mil to the contract, which makes it not as team friendly (pretty much fair, I think).
  19. @bbhrusty He'll waive it for a price (usually how that works). I just don't like limiting the options in general - that's worth something
  20. Don't love the no-trade clause on Jones' contract but the limited escalators at least keeps most of the upside to it if he stays really good
