That's actually a working OpenGL game in there. Link to sample code: http://developer.apple.com/...

Best menu ever. http://tinyurl.com/5u44q3
@rickfillion I've got it working but that might be interesting to look at. Can you send it to bwalkin at gmail.com? Thanks.
@boredzo NSCompositeSourceAtop worked nicely. Thanks!
@boredzo The problem with that luminance trick is that it draws white over the alpha parts of the image. I'll look into the Core Image stuff
I'm basically trying to apply my own effects to template images. (Similar to how NSCell applies effects depending on its -backgroundStyle)
LazyTwitter: Is there a way to take an NSImage with black and alpha and make it grey or white (rather than black)?
Frantically looking for a Mothers Day gift
Just discovered the Live Autoresizing feature in IB 3.
@fernandolins Just curious... What are the changes in 2.1 that bother you?
Monday, rather. Not sure why I thought the ADA deadline was tomorrow.
Excited to see all the apps that will get released tomorrow
Writing some really skanky code to get res independence support working properly.
@simX By completely missing the point of the technique, the study essentially knocks down a straw man. Hope that makes it clear. :-)
@simX Participants were instead shown a narrow table with little whitespace. One wouldn't expect to see a statistical difference there.
@simX Table width and amount of whitespace between columns should have been an integral component of the study.
@simX Basically, the whole point of striping is to make it easier to follow rows in large tables with plenty of whitespace between columns.
Most intellectually lazy "study" I've seen in a long time: http://www.alistapart.com/a...
Leaf edges and torn sheets have neat fractal-like patterns: http://www.europhysicsnews....
Made a glorious category for drawing lines in device space
