  1. @danielpunkass NSNotificationQueue was invaluable in implementing Birdfeed's avatar loading.
  2. @lwdupont I've never posted about leaving SF. I always get close to writing that post but worry my motivations are wrong.
  3. @aprilini For some reason, the first that comes to mind is "Lucky You" by The National. I like it because it's sarcastic, but also sincere.
  4. Finally saw "Avatar." I mostly liked it, but I think it would have been better with the scenes on Earth described here: http://bit.ly/7NtJC9
  5. Impressed that friends named their baby Eli Havemeyer (after Havemeyer St. in Williamsburg). That kid will have some serious Brooklyn cred.
  6. Pretty excited that @crazybob, one of Google's core Android engineers, is now a member of the @square client team.
  7. @nevenmrgan "Fingal got in trouble for scrolling up unauthorized cinemas on his zeen. His Airlife has been terminated."
  8. Congrats to @justin on shipping Today 2.0. I think it might actually get me to use a calendar. http://www.secondgearsoftware.com/today/
  9. RT @rsa: Introducing the Nexus One, the only phone that simulates the feeling of being stuck in Bowser's castle. http://twitpic.com/wtalt
  10. @mdoudoroff It does, although primarily as a haven for those who enjoy downloading quality television programming.
  11. Congrats to all at Panic (and @davehayden especially) on shipping Unison 2! I was a beta tester and I love it: http://panic.com/unison
  12. @wisequark I can't remember--I think he substitutes something for the pasilla peppers.
  13. @wisequark I've made that a number of times, but it's not quite perfect. @rsa actually has some substitutions that I think improve it.
  14. @ryannielsen @tlrobinson If only it kept better. I'd love to bring a jar of Papalote salsa back to NYC with me.
  15. Considering Kingsley Amis' advice about curing the "metaphysical hangover." http://bit.ly/2SnAo
  16. Transitioned to 2010 in the capable hands of Death & Co., and in the company of @dansays, @kathrynyu, and @meowrey.
  17. @kathrynyu Why not just use absinthe?
  18. @Moltz That really puts my own lousy year in perspective. Sorry to hear that.
  19. @lwdupont Still trying to figure out the point of the "things" myself. It's an interesting idea in theory, but they seem to have no utility.
  20. @rpj True--that may be more accurate.
