  2. The calculus exams are done. There should be a special level of hell just for grading the related rates / optimization exam.
  3. @SullyStats I'm afraid it will just teach them to expect 2nd chances. After investing 9 hrs of my weekend, I'm just not interested in more.
  4. 7 hrs > total combined studying time of my students (at least it feels that way)
  5. I think I'm going to deserve a reward of some sort when I finish grading these tests. I have been grading for 7 hours.
  6. 6 problems down, 2 to go. Now grading without impunity. Will offer all or nothing grading to anyone who complains about partial credit.
  7. @justice_nd It's not just that they lack basic knowledge arithmetic, and algebra skills, they lack calculator skills too. ARGH!!!!
  8. If I were allowed to outsource my test-grading I would totally do it.
  9. Apparently calc students also don't know the formula for the area of a circle. Really? KMN.
  10. I feel like I have to hold their hands to get college students to study? Really irritated. Do they have ANY ability to manage their time?
  11. Trying to decide whether to just quit grading and give them all a retake next week or to keep grading and make them take the hit.
