  3. today I am mostly trying recipes from Yotam Ottolenghi's book, while trying to think up anagrams of his name, looks very anagram-able
  4. new recipe cooking today, trying out some ideas - as always with caramel, will need a crack-team of kitchen cleaners to abseil in at the end
  5. made peanut-butter cakes with choc fondant filling, decorated with stencils of bats and jack o'lanterns - kids really only want haribo
  6. ...and the chap from masterchef that didn't win, I don't think he'd fully appreciated that cooking doesn't get any tougher than this
  7. 'sleb spotting at Borough Market - british actor...proper one, distinctive eyebrows, can't for the life-of-me think of his name...
  8. weaving through the buses with bike panniers full of English Cox's - ready for Toffee Apple making tomorrow. Nearly apple puree'd at 1 point
  9. ...while Crossrail stampedes through the old market. Still, feels good to be nicely in the thick of things
