  1. @tylersticka I <3 that whiteboard clock. Simple! Probably wouldn't actually use it though. But it's a cool idea.
  2. Which reminds me of the 'rock star' problem: How come everyone is a Rails Rockstar? Where are the Rails Porn Stars?
  3. @mfeathers people are always trying to make software act like something other than software. EE, architecture, plumbing. You name it.
  4. @MarkusQ @philtor re: nuclear waste at the beach... These gills totally help me breathe underwater! :)
  5. Struck by inspiration about 5 mins ago. I *love* that. Now trying to see how idea applies to real world. Not so much love for that part.
  6. Ugh. F!@%ing Mac. Cmd is (brilliantly) the anchor for text ops... I keep killing window or entire app when trying to Select All.
  7. "Trek in the Park" http://is.gd/1p1Bo I think that's about as nerdy as you can get without a d20.
  8. "About 20 lawyers were in the courtroom, packing the first two rows." Nice! #mj
  9. @philtor I've driven *past* the beach. Does that count? :) Are the river island beaches near PDX any warmer?
  10. @lawduck what do your devs want to use?
  11. @lawduck I think @mettadore hit nail on head. Also the definition of CMS is... flexible. Some use WP as a CMS. What's need & why php req?
  12. @undees good luck!
  13. @igalko heheheh that's like the bicycle of trains. Maybe motorcycle. I still want my maglev. Is 750mph too much to ask? :)
  14. Judging from the fan in my Mac, my screen saver has been using way more power than if I just left my desktop up.
  15. Sweet, someone has reinvented the muumuu. Cuz that needed reinventing. Apparently.
  16. @k1mb3rly we had someone doing quite the mortar show a few blocks south of us. Most of the geniuses near us just had m-80s and bricks.
  17. @korch that scene is the perfect canvas! It's a powerful performance and at the same time I can't understand one word. Perfect!
  18. Battle of Hillsboro reduced to minor skirmishes here and there.
  19. The opening volleys of WW3 have started in Hillsboro. Also, there's a mosquito around here that just marked itself for DEATH.
  20. That book actually contains a very good parable. Too bad the story is sandwiched between 40 pages of condescending crap.
