  1. @budtheteacher I'll mull it today--I applaud, embrace, and welcome thinking out loud! :-)
  2. Very thankful for my PLN and Tweeps who make me think and reflect---you all inspire and challenge me! Simply, thank you.
  3. @budtheteacher I do agree with you that we need to stress the info and content, not the container or vessel of it!
  4. @budtheteacher I think in R efforts 2 help students evaluate & select appro. sources 4 a research task, we sometimes get hung up on labels?
  5. @budtheteacher I'm heading out door, but will try 2 respond l8r. lk "print", I think requiring a "primary" source cn B as restrictive.
  6. @librarianbyday @pat2pattern In danah's case, the babble of the mean spirited Tweets drowned out the informative message of her speech.
  7. @librarianbyday @pat2pattern I do feel the conference organizers should give presenters advance notice and control over that option.
  8. @librarianbyday @pat2pattern Yes---the highlight version can help filter out the detracting Tweets while a live stream is "uncensored".
  9. @pat2pattern @librarianbyday like many things, the Twitter stream can be used for positive purposes or not so positive purposes!
  10. Please help nudge these stodgy projects toward inquiry! Go to http://bit.ly/5shdJm for more info, pls.
  11. @librarianbyday This whole incident has left me feeling a little troubled b/c people took something that had been + and tainted it.
  12. @librarianbyday we got good feedback at that particular event, but I can see how it would not work for some events.
  13. @librarianbyday at SLJ, the stream was actually part of my CoverItLive blog, and they did not show it the whole time.
  14. @librarianbyday I think the stream could detract or enhance---maybe depends on context of preso?
  15. @librarianbyday I think that is a question we are going to be discussing a lot in the next few weeks.
  16. @librarianbyday How did your cookies turn out yesterday, btw?
  17. @librarianbyday I ached for her as I read both of her posts, especially the new one---really sad people can be so cruel.
  18. @librarianbyday I love her work, too--she was just terrific and riveting at AASL . We did a live stream on side at SLJ, but Tweets were pro.
  19. @DonnaBaratta @activelearning outstanding and informative presentation!
  20. @cathyjo just saw your blog post in my Google Reader---I am beyond humbled/honored by your nod! Heartfelt thanks!
