  1. Starting the backup of all Bryght Lite sites. Please contact support@bryght.com if you need the database and files of your site!
  2. On Thursday we'll backup all enabled Bryght Lite sites, but we encourage you to get a hold of us before to transition off support@bryght.com
  3. Last week of Bryght's hosting service. We are also shutting down DNS services on May 29th, so you will need to change DNS providers by then.
  4. If you haven't given us logins to transition to Slicehost/Rackspace/EZP by 4 PM tomorrow (May 7th), we can only offer best effort support.
  5. Most (almost all) customers are in our American data centre & are still online. If we haven't queued you for transition yet, email us ASAP.
  6. Last day in the Vancouver data centre, servers already offline. Contact us support@bryght.com if your site was on our Canadian hosting.
  7. The post at support.bryght.com about the hosting shutdown also has a note about our Easter support coverage: http://tr.im/iwDV
  8. News for our customers and friends: it's with regret that Bryght will shut down effective April 30th. Blog post at http://tr.im/ipzA
  9. This morning we had some kind of power outage at the data center that hosts VPSes. We're investigating and will update when we know more.
  10. We have a new tagged release available for VPS customers, details at http://is.gd/lPmx
  11. Sites are back up and loading again.
  12. We're seeing "Unable to connect to database server" on all hosted service sites. Working to correct that now.
  13. No action is required from our customers: all domains point to front-ends, which will not change. There will be some brief downtime, though.
  14. Tomorrow (Tuesday) night we'll change the IP addresses of our hosted service's back-end servers.
  15. Tonight we'll be deleting approximately 300 unused free Bryght Light Sites with Ads. Paid and free-trial sites are not affected.
  16. Sites are all loading properly now. Email support@bryght.com if this is not the case for you.
  17. The database server should be back up shortly.
  18. Hosted service sites are experiencing another outage. All hands are on deck as we boot them up again.
  19. @jfc we're currently building out our Aegir-powered provisioning so signups are currently closed. The pricing will be the same as now.
  20. And we're back in business: hosted service sites are back up.
