  1. A pre-meeting reception has been added for the IEEE Winter Vision Meetings (including WACV): http://bit.ly/8ms7oH
  2. RT @nitsujlt (via @kelflanagan) Just renamed my wireless network to 'FBI Surveillance Van 3' haha see if any neighbors find that funny.
  3. @windley Hmm...normally seeing lots of state employees at a soup kitchen probably isn't a good sign of economic recovery. ;-)
  4. @windley Can't wait for the standalone 27'' monitor. My guess is that we'll see a "pro" refresh (Mac Pro and displays) in January.
  5. Anyone know how to force an edit lock in Extensity? I'd really like to not have to spend the rest of my evening reentering this.
  6. Argh! Spent 2 hrs entering my expense report into Extensity, now it throws exception while locked for editing, and I have to reenter it all!
  7. Getting really tired of having to find a machine with an outdated version of Java every time I want to use Extensity.
  8. Game day! Woke up early just so I'd have more time to hate the Utes before the game. :-)
  9. House decorations are up. Just a few more trees to decorate in the morning.
  10. Wal-mart on Black Friday. I'm going in. Cover me!
  11. Mmm...turkey sandwich.
  12. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
  13. @windley You, my friend, are a lucky, lucky man.
  14. At 5 Guys with @mikedjones and other BYU CS guys. From the line it looks like we'll be here a while.
  15. Good to have the latest deadline over. Just made a to do list for things put off while meeting it. Hmm...can I just go back to the deadline?
  16. Happy birthdays to Dr. Who (46 years, doesn't look a day over 900) and my sister (um, uh...less than that).
  17. Successful WiSAR demo this morning for UT Co. SAR personnel. We've been fortunate to have a great bunch of students on it.
  18. Go Heels!
  19. RT @davechen: Goldman Sachs memo Re: H1N1: "resist the urge to open your own car door ; let your driver do it."
  20. .@kelflanagan Depends on the child: nice = Mac, sometimes nice = Windows 7, naughty = Vista, recycled gift = XP, plays with the box = Linux
