  1. Five weeks to go in regular NFL season, and it is guaranteed to get more interesting every week. Playoff push is under way.
  2. For press coverng the game, there will be Thanksgiving dinner in the press box. Not the same as family, but another way to celebrate.
  3. Bob Papa and Matt Millen here today to watch video, prepare for game broadcast tomorrow. Really classy professionals.
  4. Great Thanksgiving work by Darrell Reid at Boys and Girls Club. Very classy group of players in community activities.
  5. Lots of sellouts in NFL this year. Broncos' last home non-sellout was final game of 1969 season; 2010 season begins fifth straight decade.
  6. Bob Papa normally is Giants radio voice--but has NFL Network contract which supercedes if NY is playing on a Network game. Fine announcer.
  7. Two media-heavy back-to-back games with quick Thanksgiving night contest vs. Giants. Bob Papp and Matt Millen doing NFL Network game.
  8. Fourth Thanksgiving game this decade for Broncos--2001 and 2005 at Dallas, 2006 at KC. Two wins at Dallas, a loss at KC.
  9. Two games in five days for Broncos, 12th time in team history, including one Thursday night game NOT on Thanksgiving, for that turnaround.
  10. Next week's game 1st at home on Thanksgiving Day for Broncos in NFL; two previous, both in AFL days, vs. NY Titans in 1962, Oakland in 1963.
  11. Saturday's book signing, 2-4 at Barnes & Noble, 960 S. Colorado, also with fellow authors Karl Mecklenburg, Reggie Rivers and Terry Frei.
  12. Great to see Brian Dawkins on the NFL Player Advisory Board. Dawkins is one of the best citizens we have in NFL, wonderful role model.
  13. Broadcasting legend Dick Enberg, who did "The Drive," among other games, visits Broncos camp to watch practice, talk to players, on Friday.
  14. Last week's Denver-Washington game produced a rating of 32.6 with a 58 share in the Denver market. CBS4 Countdown to Kickoff had a 9 share.
  15. Brian Dawkins doing holiday giving--Thanksgiving dinner for 250; program he runs through Salvation Army. Sgt. Sarah Brown would be pleased.
  16. More Chip Dean: he is one of just 43 original ESPN employees still with the company; always a pro, directed two Bronco games this year.
  17. Congrats to Chip Dean, ESPN's MNF director; being inducted into Arizona St Walter Cronkite Sch of Jour Alumni Hall of Fame.
  18. NFL Films doing HS rivalry piece, Canton McKinley-Massillon; talked to Josh and Ben McDaniels, K Peterson, Mark Thewes, all McKinley grads.
  19. This week is 100th Broncos-Chargers game; have played Chargers in Denver, San Diego, L.A. (1960) and in Sydney, Australia American Bowl.
  20. Doing a book signing this Saturday, 2-4 at Barnes & Noble in Glendale. Nice of good guy Gil Whiteley to do radio interview promoting book.
