  1. Here at Giganews again -- giganewsing.
  2. Thanks to Cassis Shell for starting my car, testing and not charging. Much appreciated!
  3. Pinned rows is a good idea for grid UI. Need to use it in the download view. Current download is pinned by default - but only on status sort
  4. Sometimes The UI comes together perfectly. Such is the case with preview pane tabs.
  5. UX doc approaching 45 pages. How did we pack in so many features for RC1?
  6. Google Chrome ignores cookies served from localhost. Knowing this would have saved me 2 hours. Why Google Chrome?
  7. How do you know when a UI component is worth patenting? I may have one.
  8. Cannot get floats to wrap correctly. Stuck in column based markup. Ugh.
  9. I really need to learn some unobtrusive JS techniques. Actually, I should just build something in EXT. My spaghetti script is a nightmare.
  10. Documenting the UX design. Wishing I could dictate this stuff. Next are the product naming and launch docs. A week of MS Word.
  11. @midnitecoder did you register your name on twitter? All of the recent press forced my hand. I didn't want tweets associated w/ me not by me
  12. Taco deli jammed. Lots of SXSW badges.
  13. Annual glass of Midleton on St. Pats is hard to beat but one better is toasting James with said glass.
  14. Trying out E's iPhone app. Just in beta right now but pretty cool. Kudos to Apple for the simple beta process. I'll tweet a review when live
  15. Banner ad updates in French - ugh.
  16. How can it be that brushed metal & shadows satisfy every executive?
  17. Trying twitterfon on iPod Touch. Decent UI. Positive UX thus far.
  18. Command line programmers are fascinating to watch. Well, not the programmers per se -- just the interaction of keyboard and black box.
  19. My name was available -- figure I should register it. Should have done so with Gmail 7 years ago when I signed up. Alas
