  7. to hibernate on windows xp, click Start > 'Turn Off Computer' > then press "h". The pc will hibernate immediately

  10. check your file system. click start>run> type 'chkdsk c: /f' >click 'ok' > type 'y' then enter in the next window. restart your PC.
