  1. I am meeting up with my foreign rights agent later on today. We'll be discussing all of you people.
  2. Today is going really slow. I suppose I should be grateful to feel like I have extra time.
  3. I just got hit with a flaming guilt stick. And I totally deserve it.
  4. The last royalty statement finally showed up. I'm sure the peeps will enjoy their pre-holiday checks.
  5. Wheee! I just read something pretty yummy, everyone.
  6. RT NathanBransford: How to approach revisions when you receive a manuscript critique/editorial letter: http://bit.ly/527ls8
  7. Just putting this out there early: when I hit 1000 followers, I will send a box of yummy books out to a randomly selected follower.
  8. Telling me your story does not contain beastiality is not really what I would call a compelling description.
  9. @Juliana_Stone I kind of feel the same way about the 80's. I see lots of YA ms set in the 80's because (I think) the author was YA age then
  10. @LorelieBrown The 60's and 70's are fine, if the author has a REASON to set it during that period. Just because is not a good reason.
  11. Oooh, someone just sent me back a suggested revision. Everyone: CROSS YOUR FINGERS!
  12. Or the 60's.
  13. Also, I am not that keen on you setting your ms in the 70's for no other reason than because that is the decade you remember the best.
  14. When ur YA character gets sent to a special school so they can learn about their special abilities, it still reads like Hogwarts redux 2 me.
  15. I only have 3 more people to shop for. I am very pleased by this.
  16. RT agentgame: Whether you've got an agent or not, read this comment by @ColleenLindsay on @RachelleGardner's post: http://is.gd/5867l
  17. I have a lot of full mss to read right now. Like A LOT. I think I'll be signing someone new soon. At least I hope so.
  18. Busy, busy, busy. So glad I did some preemptive catching up over the weekend or else I'd be even more buried today.
  19. RT @WolfsonLiterary: Also, in my mind "agent interest" means you have an offer for representation. Don't email to say an agent requested ...
  20. RT @Juliana_Stone: Read This: Hilarious http://bit.ly/8IKUr8
