  17. ...for strings, PHP will treat ANY text key as the first key in the string, i.e. $str['made_up_key'] retrieves the first character of $str
  18. Basically, PHP will evaluate "empty($var['key'])" as false, even if $var is not an array and has no keys... AND (wait for it)
  19. I just found the most insanely ludicrous PHP bug of all time, and that's NOT an exaggeration...
