  1. One firefighter was transported, treated and released for a shoulder injury. All out sounded at 4:00 pm
  2. District 11 Chief estimated damage at $100,000.00 from the fire, water and smoke. The buildings sprinkler system operated also.
  3. This building was a 4 story dorm. A generator was operating in the basement and the hot exhaust gases caused attic insulation to catch fire.
  4. Incident Report: At 2:14 pm firefighters responded to McCulloch Hall at Harvard Business School located at 44 Harvard Way in Allston.

  12. Small fire on a stove. Firefighters put out quickly. Damage estimated at $10,000.00 1 firefighter to hospital to be evaluated.Out at 11:20pm
  13. 1 alarm fire at Defino's Restaurant, 754 South St. in Roslindale. A 2 story commercial building. Fire in rear of building at 10:54 pm.
  14. Towels on a floor on fire that extended to the floor. Damage estimated at $10,000.00 by the District 4 Chief. No injuries. Smoke vented now.
  15. 1 alarm fire in a basement apartment at 31 Mass Ave in the Back Bay. 6 story building called the Stratford Condominiums. Call at 1:42 pm.

  17. This Committee is responsibe for establishing professional qualifications for personnel working on emergency vehicles.
  18. Shawn will work on the NFPA 1071: Standard for Emergency Vehicle Technician Professional Qualifications Technical Committee.
  19. BFD Director of Transportation Shawn Herlihy was selected to serve on a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards committee.
  20. Red Cross requested for 5 adults and 1 child displaced. Damage estimate was $300,000.00
