  1. Final update from Haz Mat. Building to stay evacuated until the small spill is cleaned up. Haz Mat Tech remains on scene
  2. One lab worker to hospital to get checked out as a small amount spilled on him. He was deconed at scene first.
  3. Update from Haz Mat incident; the chemical was Piperdine, not pepperdine. Scene is starting to clear and is being downsized
  4. No reported injuries. Haz Mat Team suiting up to make entry.
  5. On scene reports indicate a small spill in a floor 2 lab of the chemical pepperdine.
  6. A Level 3 Haz Mat response, which guides the firefighters on the type of protective suits that will be used for entry.

  17. The damage was estimated at $50,000.00 It was a 1 alarm fire. This is the 2nd fatal fire in Boston this year.
  18. It will be up to the Medical Examiner to determine the cause of the deaths. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
  19. The cause, as with all fatal fires, is being investigated by Boston Fire, Boston Police and the District Attorney.
