  1. @mickey_quenzer In my case, it's the other way around. Most of these things, to me, are way over the top and distracting.
  2. @serichsen Roughly five days less than that, but I'm too lazy to play with it and spread another fake virus. Yeah, sure.
  3. @mickey_quenzer I think that will happen when the other sound engine is fixed. I purposefully made mine quiet and unassuming.
  4. @doug73 Yeah, works better and saves more space. Still good to have options.
  5. Normal sleeping for me? Let's find out. I hope not...
  6. @lyricist87 control+win+shift+delete, or just delete your database file to kill off everything at
  7. @lyricist87 Not without clearing the whole buffer or scrapping the database, at least not that I know of.
  8. @Simon818 I'm pretty well thinking all drives suck equally and one should never be trusted, no matter what, so buy cheap and get warranties.
  9. @Simon818 I've had the least issues with Seagate desktop drives and Toshiba laptop ones over the past twelve years. What can I say?
  10. @audiorabbit03 Charter is now offering 80/5 in some markets. How's that lack of proportion doing?
  11. @Simon818 Also, Seagate's quality control has slipped a lot in the past few years since they bought Maxtor. Wonder why?
  12. @Simon818 I have an hp laptop with it's original Toshiba hard drive after four years, still the same lack of bad sectors.
  13. @audiorabbit03 Hey, at least you won't have to deal with Charter anymore. Congrats, or something?
  14. @audiorabbit03 Yes, aren't you lucky? I think a screen reader bill may be in my immediate future.
  15. @audiorabbit03 Oh good, so I'm not the only one who successfully streams from sell phones around here.
  16. @Simon818 Actually, while I don't like Toshiba's laptops, their notebook drives are quite anti-bad.
  17. @audiorabbit03 How about Hitachi Notebook industrial dishwasher, ya know, just to play it safge?
  18. @nick6489 The first covers all experiences I've ever had with that particular brand of hard drive, the second isn't really necessary.
  19. I think I've found the cause of my netbook's issues... The drive has some bad sectors. One word: Hitachi!
  20. @figmentation I could afford that if it weren't for all those pesky zeros!
