  1. Cad EPF-15 popshields are crap. I want something stirdy and American-made. Screw you, China!
  2. @DannyMacRant: I've had some success with Hyper Prism, tube/tape saturation and some other things to dirty it up a bit.
  3. might do the normal WDGL FM slot today, just to see what happens.
  4. @DannyMacRant: When I had a working three-head, that's what I used to do, put it in a loop and use a crap tape. Now I use a combo of things.
  5. Up, and ready to move out of this perverted idea of someone's happy home, feelin' it more than ever now.
  6. @DannyMacRant not really, though you might get that with some tape delays and no feedback.
  7. @RaqiG that only works when it's on, which it wasn't. I eventually found it though.
  8. I would now like to yell, scream,, and throw things at whoever designed this stupid house, and it's crappy, inefficient electrical system!
  9. Congratulations to me, I just lost my book sense for the first time ever. So, where'd it go then?
  10. @jshockley: OH crap, you're making North Carolina references. So I gues you live here... Oh no, again.
  11. @domasofan: It does so little for what it is and for what it costs.
  12. @domasofan: Yeah, but the milestone is boring, and I like the book sense better than the stream, personally.
  13. @domasofan: The standard one retails for $349, the XT is $499. Both can be gotten for cheaper, of course.
  14. @ebenbpu: That was the book sense with no external preamp with sensitivity at low. No battery boxes for the mics or anything.
  15. RT @ICOTBO: NEW CAD Equitek E100S large-diaphragm supercardioid condenser mic has the lowest noise floor in its class http://bit.ly/GWEfD
  16. @fracture4u: Maybe, though some of that might be due to the codec.
  17. @domasofan: I was burned a few years ago when I bought a XiNCoM dual wan router. Nice feature set but crappy performance. Also expensive.
  18. @domasofan: I think that's Draytech. Can't run open-source firmware on those though.
  19. @domasofan: Yay for flaky hardware. I've heard bad things about wlan on the new linksys models, so will probably get Asus next time.
  20. @domasofan: In fact, @ryanrain and @squeakmouse73 have that router now. Wahahahaha!
