@- I'm looking to upgrade my 1st gen iPhone to a droid very soon for that reason. Texting isn't easy on a virtual keyboard, IMO.

@-Droid vs iPhone mostly depends on how much you want a tactile keyboard. Droid has both tactile & virtual kybrd.
