  5. actually heard someone speaking afrikaans here other than us. found myself staring.

  12. one buffalo had tail missing which usually means lion, except i dont think there are lion here. maybe an import from kruger?

  16. even two crocs mobilized with all the activity. no fatalaties yet but watch this space
  17. fascinating. hippos disturbed by, get this, humans on canoes. they went charging into water. absolutely amazing
  18. this place is interesting. people fishing on banks in plain view of crocs. maybe there is a reason the crocs are so big
  19. meal on banks of st lucia estuary. crocs and hippos in view as we eat.
  20. enjoying leave so much i don't think i'm going to go back to work ever.
