  1. This book will be the death of me!
  2. Back to work on the book after a few months off for some other projects around the place. Hopefully more new soon.
  3. Very difficult to get the story out of my head, into my fingers, then onto paper--in a logical order anyway. I need a mind reader/typist.
  4. Back on Isla Manada working on the book. Hard to get all of the memories out of my head and into a typewriter....yes, a typewriter.
  5. Wow! Been away from the computer for a long time...feels good. Planning for another trip to the mainland. Setting sail after Memorial Day
  6. Happy 2K10 to everyone from all of us on Isla Manada! Good bye 2009--see you on the flip side.
  7. Been too busy fishin' and sailin' to be Tweetin'. Merry Christmas to all! Don't think it will be snowin' much here on Isla Manada, but....
  8. Been incognito on the main land for two weeks....now it's time to be incommunicado on the island for awhile and decompress.
  9. Like the song says, "I'm trying to reason with hurricane season..." Today is day numero uno.
  10. is wondering if I can make a short wave radio with 2 coconuts & a conch shell like the Professor?
  11. Livin' on Island Time......and it's time for lunch on my island. :)
  12. Ever seen a dog try to climb out of a rope hammock? Funniest thing I've seen in a while! :)
  13. Changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes...if we weren't all crazy, we would go insane. Man, that song never gets old!
  14. For those wondering, Isla Manada is named for the flocks of flamingos native to the island--seemingly millions of them. Beautiful!
  15. Have to get back to work on the book tomorrow. Tell everyone you know to join my fan club: www.bodolan.com More later.
  16. What a day! Heading home from Isla Manada due west into a melting sunset with my co-pilot Jake....all paws on deck, boy.
  17. Up before the sun to sail to Isla Manada. Roselia & Marco will be grilling Mahi Mahi and need some cold drinks (and another mouth to feed).
  18. Started working on the cabana again today....of course I've been working on it for nearly three years now :) Time for a cold drink.
  19. Just brought the boat back in from an eventful day of fishing the outer islands. Time for a cold drink and a bite to eat.
