Ditched Google Sync. Nueva Sync is better, and free. Google Sync won't merge your calendars, and insists on the Last, First name format.

@ Not so weird Jeff, CRC's are very commonly used for checksums because they can easily be implemented in hardware with XORs.

OK, so it wasn't *quite* a bug. The default behavior of Base64Encoder is to blame. It injects newlines every 72 characters. Why?

Looks like that problem I had with Flex is definitely a bug. Adobe's acknowledged it and it's on their list of things to fix.
