  1. @tomcoates well i had the same interpretation. And believing that's what a FB movie - or a Steve Jobs one - should focus on is very strange.
  2. @tomcoates Other things aside, I find it weird that Farhad thinks the Social Network should've been about how great Facebook's product was.
  3. @SimonJagers not aware of one that's directly comparable, but will look for a UK equivalent. Not that interested in swaps for the most part.
  4. @SimonJagers plus, we can be a bit dumb.
  5. @SimonJagers a mix of purchases made individually, copies used for work/study, some brought back from travels and some beautiful editions.
  6. @genmon eck, that's horrible. Hope you can get at least some of it sorted.
  7. 3x Sense and Sensibility, 2x The Famished Road, 2x Waiting For Godot. The drama continues!
  8. Sorting out books. Currently at 3 copies of Portrait of the Artist, 2x Kafka on the Shore, 2x Flaubert's Parrot, 2x Slaughterhouse 5.
  9. @jfagone they're crap too! Don't all get time and space to fluff themselves up though.
  10. @jimgiles I'm sure you can think of one or two. Just got frustrated: my feed seemed to be suddenly swollen with poseurs.
  11. @andrewmccormick a sad indictment that so many fail to understand that acting like a big deal doesn't mean you are one.
  12. @eugenecostello oh yeah, I feel the same. But those two are certainly at the head of a very, very long queue.
  13. @eugenecostello just most of them. I mean, just look!
  14. Y'know, if journalism wants to win back public trust, the first thing it should do is stop journalists being such a bunch of preening knobs.
  15. @dansabbagh no better way to hand the keys to the future to a competitor. Would need to be spun out in any case to make it work.
  16. And it's not just Orange, either MT @mondoagogo: surprised @DFB_storyhouse (a children's book site) is blocked e.g also @BlankSlateBooks
  17. MT @peterbradwell: we've done a post with latest info operators have given us on reporting incorrect blocks: openrightsgroup.org/blog/2012/repo…
