  1. It's been windy, rainy and wild lately, check your boat cover, tarp, moorage, Make sure hatches are battened and your boat is still afloat.
  2. Ensure your marine business is online using e-commerce and social media. Measure your success using Google analytics.
  3. Even in winter, inflatable boats in warm climates should be covered when not in use to protect them from the sun's UV rays.
  4. Don't get caught by a surprise cold snap, drain all water from your boat engine and fill it with antifreeze to avoid a cracked block!
  5. In colder climates, now is the time to consider storing away your inflatable boat, wrapped up in a warm dry locaiton away from rodents, etc.
  6. Sadly, I'm planning to winterize my boat today and store it way until next summer.
