  2. leaving for Brazil today. Long 3000 mile sail. Very hot. Good stop in San Juan and Puerto Rico. Good coral reef talks with scientists here.
  3. Ocean Watch into San Juan, PR. 1000 mile sail. Very hot. Happy to be here. Diving and coral reefs later in the week w U of PR scientists.
  4. Amazing time in Miami. Big thank you to the U of Miami for being great hosts. Harry, Shake A Leg, you are the best. Lots of people who care.
  5. Heading into Miami. Lots of events planned. Lots of kids, science and education about seas and climate change.
  6. Arrived in Charleston, SC. Safe after eventful 700 mile ride through a couple gales in the Gulfstream. Glad to be here. OW changing props.
  7. Arrived NYC. Ocean Watch is at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum thru Thursday. Lots of events. Public open houses 1-4 daily. Big Apple
  8. Noon arrival in Newport, RI. ER yesterdayas I tore a calf muscle running. No blood clot thankfully.
  9. Boston, Mass. Beantown. Go Sox! We are in from a tough passage from Halifax with gales, seas, and 40 knots. North gave us a final goodbye.
  10. Coffee and wifi in Halifax, NS, Canada. We are 8000 miles into our voyage. Last stop in Canada. Off to Boston on Wednesday.
