  1. Thank you all for your emails-- I'll be replying within the next few days and updating blt with your suggestions shortly.
  2. BLT 0.22 out; you can now install using 'sudo cpan App::BLT' anywhere- http://xrl.us/bjk2s
  3. As of todays lunchbreak, uses XML::Tiny rather than XML::LibXML because its so much more lightweight.
  4. has been profiled and runs a good bit faster (no discernable wait when you press return)
  5. is now WAY faster; no more dependency on YAML; accepts multiple accounts. download and play!
  6. Testing the new version of BLT. This should be in blt
  7. Next to fix: direct msgs, or user switching? Reply to this and let me know.
  8. is now known to twitter as a client (yay!), as you can see right here -->
  9. is now able to fork and check in the background and print when it has data, so, so it's less slow
  10. False alarm! It was working fine.
  11. I think I broke something in update; don't download the current version for a bit
  12. Getting in an infinite polling loop while attempting to daemonize considered harmful, or at least not admin-happifying.
  13. @machineplay: actually, it was quite easy once you realise to do everything in XML *coding glee*
  14. blt no longer uses Net::Twitter, so is now both faster and easier to install
  15. @blt: the answer is "not at all difficult" :)
  16. I wonder how easy it is to roll your own Twitter library.
  17. Still a bit slow. I need to see about removing Net::Twitter and writing it myself. That will also mean people don't have to install anything
  18. All new and ready to go at http://marnanel.org/projects/blt/ .
