  2. HTML Email Tip #8: Don't use UL, OL, or LI tags. Instead, cut lists as tables, with bullets in their own cells.
  3. HTML Email Tip #7: Unless your ESP requires it, don't use spacer gifs, because of Outlook 2007 issues. Use empty TDs and TABLEs instead.
  4. HTML Email Tip #6: Add text-decoration styles to your links to ensure they display consistently.
  5. HTML Email Tip #5: Avoid designs that require background images - CSS and HTML backgrounds don't work in Gmail and Outlook 2007.
  6. HTML Email Tip #4: Add widths to every TD and TABLE tag, and heights and widths to every IMG.
  7. HTML Email Tip #3: Use CSS inline styles. Many clients don't process page CSS in the head tag, or external CSS files.
  8. HTML Email Tip #2: For images, only use gifs or jpegs. Some older clients have problems with PNGs.

  19. @lenalindstrom12 Interesting - you don't use it specifically for project management then? How's things going there?
  20. @adammcnamara More powerful in what ways? I'm trying to choose, so someone's experience is useful.
